Hey Everyone!
As you know Legit Combat Arms' has implemented some more staff changes this week. Hopefully this change will better your gaming experience as well as our time management. We have added 2 new moderators from Australia: Froggie56 as well as Brendonghost. Due to some time constraints Froggie will only be hosting (when time is available to him) and on the weekends. Brendon, will be hosting fulltime.
We have also added another moderator Ryan8675. She will be hosting fulltime as well. The same rules and etiquette apply when you are in game and they are modding for LCA. I will be updating the Mods page shortly and adding them to it. You may add them ONLY if you have been scanned LEGIT by LCA.
On a Sidenote: We have a Room Access page that is accessible to all who have been scanned clean. This page is designated for only Legit members of LCA. The mods have full access to update the room(s) they are hosting in (and will be displayed on the Room Access, page). So please make use of this function, as it will help eliminate timezone barriers. (If no room is displayed in the Room Access, then currently no Mod is hosting). If you have been scanned Legit and don't see the Room Access page, please let one of the Staff know in the forums. *** Posting it in the Shoutbox, is at your own risk. Keep in mind when the shoutbox get's flooded... we cannot recover messages. So be sure to post in the forum!

It's finally HERE! Rural Estate has now been added to Combat Arms! I haven't got the chance to play it yet (but I am hearing some mixed reviews). We shall see....

Player Created Map: Rural Estate
Last year, Combat Arms Command gave a first-of-its-kind of request to all soldiers – to design an original battlefield for Combat Arms. After several months and an extensive review of all the creations,a winner was finally chosen.
We are very proud to announce that SuperPianist's design, Rural Estate, is the newest map in Combat Arms!
Rural Estate Mission Briefing
Recently retrieved intel has revealed a terrorist encampment just outside the city limits. A palatial estate is being used as a supply depot to further terrorist advancement into urban areas. As the government's infiltration team prepares their surprise attack on the estate, the terrorists prepare a surprise of their own. Vital documents revealing the attack plans have been leaked by a government mole and the infiltration team is headed right into a hellish trap!
Can your team turn the tables on the terrorists and make it out of Rural Estate alive?

Carbon 15
The Carbon 15 is a truly deadly assault rifle modeled after the AR-15. The biggest difference isn’t in fire rate or power, but the use of high-quality carbon fiber polymer in its construction. The result is an extraordinary light yet tough weapon that sports increased portability without sacrificing durability.

XM25 CDTE

The XM Counter Defilade Target Engagement System (also known as “The Punisher”) is a high-tech launcher derived from the XM29 OICW. The XM25 CDTE fires 25mm grenades from a four round magazine, providing superior fire support without having to reload after every shot. This truly devastating weapon is an extraordinary addition to any soldier’s arsenal.

The MYST-Lima has just been authorized for release! This case is full of permanent and NX rare weapons, including a brand new Epic - Hana's Mac-10.

New GP Weapons
P220 Combat TB
This is a customized variant of the popular P220 semiautomatic pistol used by police and military forces the world over. This variant’s frame has been modified with a Picatinny rail and attachment points for night sights and a variety of other battlefield accessories, gearing it toward combat use.
M2 Browning
The M2 Browning Machine Gun is an iconic weapon recognized the world over. Designed near the end of WWI, this heavy and unwieldy machine gun has seen service in virtually every war since it was created because of its extreme reliability under adverse conditions and the 50 caliber rain of death it produces for anyone dumb enough to get in its path.
Bubba Ares’ Gun Emporium
Bubba Ares obviously never sleeps because there are all sorts of deadly goodies coming out of the Gun Emporium this month.
New Forgeable Weapons
FG42
This is a replica of the WWII-era German Fallschirmjägergewehr 42. Considered one of the most advanced weapon designs of the era, this firearm became standard issue for paratroopers, though material shortages meant it saw only limited use in the war. The gun’s unique construction pushes the center of gravity closer to the user, offering better controllability during burst and automatic firing.
Thompson
The Thompson Submachine Gun is one of the most recognizable and iconic firearms in the world. It was a favorite of Al Capone and the Chicago Underworld. As a result, it’s frequently seen in films and TV shows as the stereotypical “gangster gun,” and is popular with collectors because of its historical significance. The Thompson remained popular for many years after it was introduced because of its large ammo capacity .45 ACP cartridge and extremely high volume of automatic fire.
Bug Fixes and Game Updates
Corrected “Wallbang” exploits in Short Fuse.
Players will no longer be able to interact with the darkened UI while Quick Start is searching, although they will still be able to click on the Cancel button.
Non-Permanent items with exceedingly long durations (3600+ days) will now correctly display their expiration date and remaining duration, as opposed to erroneously stating that they had become Permanent. This is merely a change with how the item is displayed in the inventory: No actual durations of any items have been altered by this fix.
Compensation distributed to players that logged in for the Hot Shot 3 event but did not receive rewards.
Corrected some text errors in Nemexis HQ.
The Spoils of War ability can no longer be activated while dead.
Known Issues
The Thompson currently allows Magazine mods, however they do not alter the magazine size or reload speed.
Some level geometry in Rural Estate may disappear when positioned in specific areas.
Due to an issue with some achievment rewarding, all achievements have been temporarily disabled.
Daily Jobs 2 and 3 for February 16th have incorrect goal settings. This will be corrected for future daily jobs.

As you know we have been discussing some management changes over the last month (and hopefully we will be doing a couple of more!),. If you were following the forums at the Legit Combat Arms website, Blood has nominated Brutus for a moderator position. I (Charm) am happy to welcome him aboard as part of the staff.
I think Brut will be a great addition and a great help to LCA, and I look forward to having him as part of the team. I am sure you will welcome and congratulate him as a new mod for LCA as well , and hopefully catch up with him in the servers! I will add his name to the admins posting on the forums. Make sure you add him (if you have been scanned Legit).

Hey Everyone!
Just another quick update for you all. Tomorrow there will be scheduled maintenance.
Expect a downtime of 1 hour!
Also, I'd like to include an update of Combat Arms TV (Rural Estate). According to Kalika the map still has a couple of tweaks the development team has to work out before it will be released. Mainly regarding the Capture the Flag game mode. I can however, verify that map (should) be released this month. Also expect an update to the Combat Arms website. The issues with the clan pages are supposed to be revamped and those that have had issues accessing the clan pages, should also be addressed. You may need to do a couple of refreshes to access the page but they are functioning now (knock on wood).
If you had missed the Combat Arms TV edition of Rural Estate which aired on February 8th you may see the video recording from their Twitch TV account... available HERE.

Hey Everyone!
Just a heads up Combat Arms TV is going LIVE again!
On February 8th @ 1:30 PM, PST you will get your first sneak peek of the new Rural Estate Map!
I know from the last Combat Arms TV...we had previewed the Nemexis HQ map. Kalika had stated in the next "update" that the Nemexis map would be available to play. Anyone betting that in the next update for CA, Rural Estate will be released?

Some quick updates...
1. Update Blog - Almost Completed.
2. A New Supply Drop came out today (you may recognize it from the Preview Sale) a few weeks back.
3. Permanent Duration on the FR F2 is for a limited time only!

Combat Arms Command has just authorized the FR F2 for use on the battlefield! The FR-F2 is an upgrade to the standard French FR FR1 sniper rifle. It's thermally shielded along the barrel to hide the sniper from heat-seeking equipment and has been upgraded with more power and engineered for better accuracy.

The FR F2 is available for purchase for the following durations:
30-day duration: NX 6,500
90-day duration: NX 11,900
Permanent: NX 29,900
