Trick or Treat, Soldiers!
Halloween is almost here, and to join in on the celebration, all you need to do is show up in Combat Arms! We'll be giving away tons of free items between 3:00 pm and 11:30 PM Pacific time! These items are either going to be Halloween themed Treats for you to enjoy, or some other little Tricks we have in store.
An item will be awarded to every player logged into Combat Arms every 30 minutes between:
- 3:00 PM Pacific
- 6:00 PM Eastern
- 9:00 AM Sydney (Nov. 1st)
...and...
- 11:30 PM Pacific
- 2:30 AM Eastern (Nov. 1st)
- 5:30 PM Sydney (Nov. 1st)

Attention Soldiers,
Do you have what it takes to become a Lead Farmer? From now through November 6th, all players in Combat Arms will have the opportunity to grow their rewards to their heart's content!
In order to join in, all you need to do log in and play! Logging in will grant you a new Siebold Primrose Seed for you to grow, which can be found in the Lead Farmer Event menu in the CA Start Menu.
If you want, you can Harvest the Seed immediately to be rewarded a Siebold Primrose Seed Case, containing either 10x 100% EXP Passes, 100% GP Passes or the 200%/25% EXP/GP Combo Pass!
Of course, that's ignoring the real rewards! All you need to do to grow your Seed is to keep playing Combat Arms. Play for 60 minutes and your seed will grow into a Siebold Primrose Sprout, which can be harvested for a Siebold Primrose Sprout Case, which contains a powerful, random Function item, including the Infected Mutagens, Super Elite Moderator or a Weapon Renewal Kit!
But harvesting that Sprout will keep you from the best reward! Play for another 180 minutes and the Sprout will grow into a Siebold Primrose Flower, which you can Harvest for a Siebold Primrose Case, containing a powerful gear item, such as the Recon Vest or Anti-Flash Goggles, an elegant Cosmetic item, like the Maverick Helmet or Trench Backpack, or possibly even 1-3 Weapon Reneal Kits, Super Weapon Renewal Kits, up to 10 Black HiSec Keys or even a chance at a 1 or 7 day Demonic Epic, including Orthus, Legion and Azazel!
If you Harvest your Seed, Sprout or Flower, you'll be given a new Seed in the next day for you to start it all over again, and if you want to work for that Flower but don't have the time in one day? Just don't Harvest, and you'll find your progress saved for the next day!
Remember, this event goes away on November 6th, so get your rewards while you can!

The spirit of Oktoberfest has arrived to Combat Arms, and somehow transformed all of our HiSec cases into kegs of what is clearly a non-alcoholic beverage!
From now through October 7th, players in-game will be able to collect all new, Oktoberfest-styled HiSec cases, which are going to be dropping twice as often as normal! But that's not the only way you'll be able to get them!
The Black and White Oktoberfest HiSec Cases will now also appear on the Roulette Wheel! You'll have a 1 in 6 chance of getting a HiSec Case this way!
Not enough? Then just be the MVP! Earning the MVP in any of the following categories will instantly award you a White Oktoberfest HiSec!

Attention Soldiers,
As you may be aware, the Daily Jobs have not been properly functioning in Combat Arms. On some servers, the correct Daily Jobs will display but cannot be completed, while other servers will display the wrong Daily Jobs entirely. We do apologize for this problem.
Our developers are currently working on a fix for these issues, which we intend to be released within the next week. However, in order to stop any server-side issues that could crop up as a result of the errors, we have elected to disable the Daily Jobs until the Hotfix is deployed.
As for the Workaholic event, we will be adjusting the time frame for the rounds based on when Daily Jobs regain functionality for all players.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and will update you when we have more information.

Operation: Contract Killer is Underway!
Make sure those weapons are clean, because Daily Jobs are back, and NPCs need you to do their dirty work for them! Being a contract killer does have its benefits. Cosmetic Items have also arrived to change the appearance of your favorite gear. You no longer have to choose between looks and stats – now you can have both!
If your arsenal is looking a little sparse, check out the reliable QBZ-95 Assault Rifle, the beefed-up Mac-10 SE Submachine Gun, and the Forgeable MP40. See everything Operation: Contract Killer has to offer below!
Daily Jobs Revamp
Daily Jobs have been revamped and reintroduced. Various NPCs need your assistance, and you’ll be able to complete jobs for them in exchange for rewards. The jobs you take are now entirely up to you. The shady characters offering these jobs want to keep the blood off their hands, but that should be no concern for you.
Cosmetic Items
It’s always been hard to strike the perfect balance between form and function, but with new Cosmetic Items, you’ll be able to customize your items to look great and perform well at the same time! Cosmetic Items provide a new look without altering your items’ stats, or even just hides the item from view altogether. If you’ve got some great gear that just doesn’t have that badass look you’re going for, use Cosmetic Items to bring it up to your standards.
Each Cosmetic item has three colors to it, although you can only own one of them at a time. There are also four other Cosmetic items: Transparent Headgear, Transparent Facemask, Transparent Backpack and Full Transparency. Each of these Cosmetic items will hide the designated slot, with Full Transparency hiding all equipped gear
The MP40 was the submachine gun of choice in Germany during World War 2. Also known as the Schmeisser, it is a reliable workhorse on the battlefield. Forged from 7x FH - Replica Pallets and the MAC-10.
Other Changes
Bug Fixes
- Spawn points and goals are no longer corrupted when playing Seize and Secure on Kill Creek.
- Fireteam Matches now block intended grenades (Smoke\Flash) and allow useful grenades (Gas\Incendiary).
- Goal setting for rooms no longer resets to default if the map is changed.
- The map Vertigo has been modified to address performance concerns.
- The map Dark Forest has been modified to address performance concerns.
- The map Oil Rig (in Quarantine Regen only) has been modified to address performance concerns.
- Corrected text issue for map\mode information when loading into One Man Army on Showdown.
- Corrected alignment of suppressors attached to G18 Pistol.
- Removed unintended gap of time at beginning of Magpul FMG-9's reload sequence.
- Magpul FMG-9 damage stat has been reduced to match in-game performance. The actual damage of the Magpul FMG-9 has not changed.
- HP now changes to red 'alert' status at 30 HP instead of 3 HP while piloting a robot in NEMEXIS Labs.
Balance Changes
- Corrected Galil ACE damage in-game not being high enough to match damage stat in shop.
Other Game Changes
- Quick Start reduced to only vital search functions for better odds of successfull matches.
- Squirt Gun no longer Forgable; use Roulette to turn Battery FH materials into Battery Pallets and forge the Alien Gun!
- MYST-G Updated to include the new Mac-10 SE.
- Melee attacks will now play pain sound FX when an attack strikes another player.

Attention Soldiers,
Combat Arms (despite occasional "Teamer" comments) is just as much a game of strategy as it is of raw skill. Staying with teammates and clan members allows you to watch their back as they watch yours, take out entrenched positions and, most importantly, gives the enemy someone else to shoot at.
Clans have always been the best place to find these mobile meat shields, and as such, we here at Combat Arms Command have chosen to shine a spotlight on Clan play with the second Clan Warfare Event, running from now through September 26th!
All clans that complete at least 10 Clan Matches will receive:
- 50x 40% Bonus GP Passes
- 30 Day Clan Cap
- 30 Day Clan Backpack
Additionally, the members of the 50 clans that earn the most Clan Experience during the event will earn:
- 30 Day Clan Name Color Change
- 30 Day CX4 Storm
- 30 Day P99
- 30 Day Clan Helmet
- 30 Day Clan Backpack
Not enough? The top five clans get even more! The players of Clans 2-5 will get the following, in addition to all of the above:
- A channel in the Clan Server will become named after your clan!

Finally, in addition to all of the other rewards, the members of the #1 Clan will receive the best rewards of them all!

Every September, citizens all across the USA are encouraged to prepare themselves for any emergencies, be it planning escape routes or stocking up on supplies.
In that spirit, from September 3rd through Septempber 12th, Combat Arms is joining in, and we'll be giving you everything you need to take it to the enemy!

Every day of the event, players who login to Combat Arms will receive a free 1-Day Mercenary or Specialist character! And don't dismiss these guys, because you're gonna need them for the next part!

Ten times each day, all players logged into Combat Arms are going to be gifted a item! From a 1 Day Tanker Vest or a 3 Day Viper's P90TR, or even more, there's plenty of amazing gear that's going to be going out there, you just need to be logged in at the right time!
