Hey Everyone -

Just doing a quick blog post. I did write a post about it on the LCA forums yesterday, however I wanted to make it more official that it belong on the blog.

Khali who is the CM (community manager) over at Combat Arms is, sadly leaving us. She replaced Kalika back in April of 2012. There has been no word from (her or Nexon) with whom is to be her replacement at this point.

Khali whose real name is Nikki, is leaving to pursue a career in a separate Gaming field. Although her stint was short at Nexon, many in the gaming community have grown to adore and cherish the time she had spent with us.

Her official last day is July 13th, 2012.
She plans on hosting a forum event on July 12th, 2012.

If you would like to read her official post you may do so, here at Combat Arms' Forum.

We would like to wish you good luck on your future endeavors Khali, thank you for stepping up to the plate as Community Manager.

Kalika -

It is with great sadness that you are departing from Combat Arms. We here at LCA are so thankful for all that you have done at Nexon.

You have committed yourself to fighting for us. You have dedicated countless hours of your time and patience to everyone at the forums, not including the countless meetings you've sat in on. There was not one moment that your time didn't embody Combat Arms or its production. You were truly our voice, you've helped so many of us in the community, and are a beloved asset to Combat Arms.

We're going to miss you, and I hope at sometime (should you come back to CA) you will keep in contact with the many (CA communities) out there. We wish you luck on your future endeavors, and are hopeful and optimistic for your prosperous future.

Dear Members,

I cannot believe we did it! As I sit here trying to find the words... the only thing that comes to mind is THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart, I never (truly expected) to place first in the Holiday Card Contest. I always had doubt that maybe we could score 2nd ... that people would never vote, like my design, or miss voting in general (considering the holiday), etc.

I have spent a few nail biting nights spamming my facebook and flooding friends with requests. I really wanted this to be OUR baby, I really wanted this so bad for us. There's very few things that ever surprise me in life, I seem to be more pessimistic by trade. But this is the first, and I'm stunned.

This is one of those moments, I think: 1. I have the best support (friends) EVER and 2. I actually designed something halfway decent. =)) and that I should believe in (some) of my talent.

With that being said, for me personally... this is probably one of the best moments and accomplishments in my life. How many people can say out of all of Nexon America (and the thousands if not million+ players)... they've won something. Also, that people took time out of their day for me and to vote for my design. I know I'm rambling but I just wanted to share my tears of joy with you, and share this accomplishment with you.

I cannot be more proud, and I truly thank all of you who took the time to vote!

Now .... I do not know when CA will release the "prize" to me. But as soon as it does, it will be distributed back for Events! But it will be fun, because in the meanwhile I'm going to come up with some ideas. Also I will probably make a post of it on the Website (forums), for feedback. I would really be interested in reading what you think we should do for events! =)

Love,
Charm
xoxo
