The event seems to be slowly rolling out (without an "official" post yet).
So it may be premature but I'm blogging it anyway!

Nexon had a new popup just an hour ago that miraculously disappeared on me but now they're updating the banner!

Apparently the video eludes to the official event starting June 16th, 2012.

Which side are you on? Choose a side TODAY!Why should you sign up for a team now? If you sign up now, you are guaranteed to be on the team you've selected when the Spiders vs Scorpions war begins. You'll also receive the following prizes: 1 Supply Case GP-Regular, 1 Supply GP-Hazard, and 1 Supply Case Gift-N (7-day). 

When will you receive prizes? In order to receive prizes, you must choose a side (Spiders or Scorpions) and have an in-game character. You will receive your 1 Supply Case GP-Hazard and 1 Supply Case Gift-N on June 14th when you log into the game. The date you receive your 1 Supply Case GP-Regular will vary depending on the day you sign up AND have an in-game character. You can see the full reward schedule below.
